Announcements
Hypnosis is helpful in treating stress, obesity, smoking and much more.
Our Stress Magagement Group will resume regular meetings in early May 2001.
Group discussion, brief seminars and Meditation practice will once again be featured at each meeting which will last 1.5 hours.
The essence of good medicine is to consider first and formost the needs of the patient and not the economic gains of the physician, insurance company or government.
Medicare patients must (if possible)keep Medicare Primary and supplemental insurance Secondary.
Try to maintain the right to select a doctor of your choice rather than one picked for you (because it saves the insuror money).
We will be happy to help you find good medical coverage.
HMO's are a necessary evil in an effort to control the cost of medical care. Unfortunately, they tend to consider the "business of Medicine" more than the best interests of the patient.
Maintaining a good Doctor/Patient relationship is fundamental to quality patient care and the decisions regarding treatment, referral etc. must be those of the patient and his/her physician...not people working primarily to cut costs even if that means sub-standard care for the patient.
